A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBER TO THE
LEGISLATIVE COMMITTEE OF THE CITY; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of University Park appoints numerous
statutory and advisory boards and committee members; and,
WHEREAS, these board and committee members are appointed for two-year
terms, coinciding with City election years; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council elected on May 10, 2014 has appointed those
board and committee members for the period of August 2014 to August 20 16; and,
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Legislative Committee and a new
appointment is required;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of University Park hereby
appoints the Honorable Dan Branch to be a member of the Legislative Committee of
the City for the balance of the current term.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
adoption and it is accordingly so resolved.
DULY ADOPTED by the City Council of University Park this the 20th day of
January, 2015.
