A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE SMU
LAND SALE COMMITTEE AND THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE OF
THE CITY FOR THE TERM FROM AUGUST, 2014 TO AUGUST, 2016; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of University Park appoints nwnerous
statutory and advisory boards and committee members; and,
WHEREAS, these board and committee members are appointed for two-year
terms, coinciding with City election years; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council elected on May 10, 2014 is now appointing
those board and committee members for the period of August 2014 to August 20 16;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS THAT:
SECTION 1. The City Council of the Ci ty of University Park hereby
appoints the board and committee members as listed on Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and made part hereof for all purposes.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
adoption and it is so accordingly resolved.
DULY ADOPTED by the City Council of University Park this the 19th day of
August, 2014.
