AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS, AMENDING
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK, CHAPTER
12, TRAFFIC CONTROL, BY AMENDING SECTION 12.05.042 (a) TO DELETE
SUBSECTION (28) SO AS TO REMOVE THE RESIDENT -PARKING-ONLY
RESTRICTION FOR THE 6100 BLOCK OF WESTWICK; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the west side of the 61 00 block of Westwick was restricted by ordinance 16-017
to resident-parking-only during certain hours; and,
WHEREAS, the property owners in that block have requested that parking not be so restricted;
Now, Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY
PARK, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Chapter 12, Article 12.05 "Parking", Section 12.05.042 (a), of the Code
of Ordinances, City of University Park, Texas, is hereby amended in part as follows:
"Sec. 12.05.042 Zones Designated; issuance of permits
(a) The following are designated as resident-parklng-only zones, to wit:
(28) RESERVED;

SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage,
and it is accordingly so ordained.
DULY PASSED by the City Council ofthe City ofUniversity Park, Texas, on the
4th day of October 2016.
