AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS, APPROVING
THE FY2017 TRANSFER OF $7,665.00 OF EQUIPMENT FROM THE
FIRE EDUCATION AND TRAINING FUND (FUND 56) TO THE EQUIPMENT SERVICES
FUND (FUND 47); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EFFECT SUCH TRANSFER;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of University Park has determined that it is in
the public interest to transfer $7,665.00 of equipment purchased in the Fire Education and
Training Fund to the Equipment Services Fund via inter-fund transfer during fiscal year 2017;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is directed to transfer such equipment from Fund
56 to Fund 47.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage,
as the law and Charter in such cases provide.
DULY PASSED by the City Council ofthe City ofUniversity Park, Texas, on the 16th
day of January, 2018.
