AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS, AMENDING THE
2017-2018 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET, ORDINANCE NO. 17-030, TO APPROPRIATE
$66,791.00 FROM THE GENERAL FUND UNASSIGNED FUND BALANCE AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of University Park has determined that it is in
the public interest to amend Ordinance No.17-030 to transfer funds from unassigned fund
balance within the General Fund into specific accounts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 17-030, the 2017-2018 fiscal year budget ordinance of the
City of University Park, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended to appropriate unassigned fund
balance of $66,791.00 from the General Fund, thereby increasing budgeted expenditures $66,791.00
in the specific accounts listed on Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made part hereof for all purposes,
and that such expenditures are hereby authorized and made a part of the 2017-2018 fiscal year budget
of the City.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, as the
law and Charter in such cases provide.
DULY PASSED by the City Council of the City of University Park, Texas, on the 18th day
of December, 2018.
