AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK,TEXAS,AMENDING
ORDINANCE 18-035 OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK;AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,Ordinance 18-035 adopted a pay plan to compensate employees of the City for
FY 2018-2019;and
WHEREAS,it is necessary to revise the pay plan for seasonal employees at the swimming
pool to provide hourly rates of pay;Now,Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY
PARK,TEXAS:
SECTION 1.That Ordinance 18-035,City of University Park,Texas,adopting a pay plan to
compensate employees of the City for FY 2018-2019,as provided in Article 9.03 of the Code
of Ordinances,is hereby amended in part to add an hourly wage scale for swimming pool
employees,attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
SECTION 2.That this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage as
the law and Charter in such cases provide.
DULY PASSED by the City Council of the City of University Park,Texas,on the
7th day of May 2019.
