HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance No. 21-031 creating a School Zone near Baltimore and AmherstORDINANCE NO.21-031 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK,TEXAS,CREATING SCHOOL TRAFFIC ZONES ON BALTIMORE DRIVE FROM A POINT 85 FEET NORTH OF THE INTERSECTION OF THE NORTH-EASTERN RIGHT-OF-WAY LINES OF LOVERS LANE AND BALTIMORE DRIVE NORTH 465 FEET AND AMHERST AVENUE FROM A POINT 230 FEET WEST OF THE INTERSECTION OF THE NORTH-WESTERN RIGHT-OF-WAY LINES OF AMHERST AVENUE AND BALTIMORE DRIVE EAST 465 FEET,WITH A MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT OF TWENTY MILES PER HOUR DURING SCHOOL TRAFFIC ZONE HOURS EFFECTIVE 7:15 A.M.TO 8:30 A.M.AND 2:45 P.M.TO 4:15 P.M.ON SCHOOL DAYS; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;PROVIDING A PENALTY OF FINE NOT TO EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00)FOR EACH OFFENSE;AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
