AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK,TEXAS,AMENDING
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY PARK,CHAPTER 1,
DIVISION 4,SWIMMING POOLS,TO AMEND SECTION 1.09.103 IN PART;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT;AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS,the City Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City to
limit access to the City swimming pools;Now Therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF UNIVERSITY
PARK,TEXAS:
SECTION 1.That Chapter 1 "General Provisions",Division 4,"Swimming Pools",
Code of Ordinances,City of University Park,Texas,is amended by amending Section 1.09.103
in part as follows:
"CHAPTER 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS
Division 4.Swimming Pools
Sec.1.09.103 Persons who may use pools
The persons listed in this section may use the City swimming pools,to wit:
(1)Qualified residents of the City
(2)Reserved
(3)Residents in those areas within the City of Dallas which are in the Highland Park
Independent School District
(4)Reserved
(5)Reserved
(6)Reserved
(7)Reserved"
SECTION 2.All ordinances of the City of University Park m conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage,as the law and
Charter in such cases provide.
DULY PASSED by the City Council of the City of University Park,Texas,on the 16th day
of June 2020.
